A real example

From a rough draft to a publishable Methods section.

One paragraph. Original Italian draft, rewritten in journal-grade English. Numbers, claims, and study design preserved.

Before — what residents send us

Methods: Sono stati arruolati 84 pazienti consecutivi con dolore lombare cronico che andavano al pronto soccorso. Tutti erano sottoposti a RMN. Abbiamo guardato chi aveva ernia discale e chi no, e li abbiamo seguiti per un anno per vedere se stavano meglio dopo terapia conservativa.

After — ready for submission

Methods: Between January and December 2024, 84 consecutive patients presenting to the emergency department with chronic low-back pain were prospectively enrolled. All participants underwent lumbar MRI at admission. Patients were stratified by the presence or absence of disc herniation and followed for 12 months to evaluate functional recovery following conservative management. The primary outcome was the change in the Oswestry Disability Index at 12 months.

From the beta

What residents and physicians say.

  • I wrote my first case report in three evenings. SanaScribe turned my Italian-thinking sentences into something my PI didn't have to rewrite.
    R., R2Internal medicine resident · Roma
  • Honestly faster than asking ChatGPT and constantly reminding it what IMRAD is. The Methods rewrite preserved every number.
    M., R3Orthopaedic resident · Milano
  • I'm an attending and I write papers every year. The polish setting gets a Methods section 80% of the way there in under a minute.

  • Clinical responsibility notice

SanaScribe is a writing-assistance tool. Every output must be carefully reviewed by the physician before any use. Final clinical decisions, scientific accuracy, and authorship responsibility remain with the physician using the tool.

  • Privacy & data handling

Submitted text is transmitted to a third-party AI provider for processing. Aggregated metadata (no manuscript content) is stored for quality analytics. Do not include patient-identifying data — pseudonymise before pasting.
